"I Wish I Could Buy Breaths"

The tragic story of Samsung owner.

25 October 2020 was the day. The doctor straightened the patient's arm and shook his head in frustration.

The son asked in a low voice, "Is there no chance?"

"Sir, not now, we have to stop the ventilator," the doctor replied.

The son lowered his head and slowly walked out of the room. This patient was in a coma since May 2014.

And the story of this patient began in 1940.

His father set up a small company in Daegu, South Korea.

Three stars are called "Samsung" in Korean. According to ancient traditions, three stars that rise together never set.

His father, Lee Byung-chul, renamed the company Samsung for good omen.

These people initially exported fruit and frozen fish. As reconstruction began after World War II, Samsung moved from food to the construction industry and began building buildings, bridges, and roads in droves. Lee Byung-chul earned millions of dollars in these contracts.

These were sensible people. They knew that one should not keep all one's eggs in one basket. So they ventured into textile, fashion and electronics business along with construction. And the group grew.

Lee Kun He was the third son of Lee Byung Chul. The boy was dull-minded and indifferent. He was not interested in studying but his father wanted to teach him anyway.

Lee Kun-hee graduated from Waseda University with a degree in Economics and enrolled at George Washington University in the US for graduate business studies.

The era of George Washington was the most futile and inexplicable period of Lee's life. He could not complete his degree. His father called him back and engaged him in construction and trading.

It kept working as it fell. Father was not satisfied with his performance. They thought he would sink the entire company.

The father died in 1987 and Lee was forced to take over the company. The company was currently operating in 34 different sectors.

The next five years were very difficult for Lee. He kept running from one office to another and from the second to the third until 1993.

Lee suddenly realized we were making too many products, which was causing us to suffer in quality, while our competitors only did one thing at a time and their product quality was much better than Samsung's. Lee felt that if we did not beat our competitors in quality, we would be beaten.

So one day he gathered all his executives and told them, "From today we are changing everything except our wife and children." You guys don't care about the loss. Even if we come to the footpath, there is no problem. You just focus on quality. Our products must be number one in the market in any case. The Samsung logo should be a guarantee.”

It was a major shift. The management of the company tried to convince him but he persisted.

He was also ready to bear any kind of loss. Executives gave up and went for quality instead of quantity.

The early years were very difficult. Company warehouses became junkyards. Samsung's piled up in the market. People did not even go near its signboards. They ran to the distributors but they did not back down. In 1995, on the one hand, the company's fleet was sunk, and on the other hand, Lee Kun-hee was accused of paying a $30 million bribe to South Korean President Ruh Tae-woo.

He also faced investigations, inquiries and court cases. That period was difficult but made them strong. They went on flourishing.

Samsung, meanwhile, entered the television industry and its TVs became the market leader in no time, overtaking Sony in production, quality and sales within months. Thus, the company became a high quality assurance card in 2006. It reached every home. In 1998, Li Kun also started a smart phones unit.

This unit was called Galaxy. Galaxy came into the market and put up boat ramps. It also quickly became a global brand, after which Samsung became a $350 billion company.

Lee Kun-hee was also included in the list of 100 most influential people in the world by Forbes in 2014 and became the richest person in Korea. It also became richer than the state.

The first pillar of Lee Kun He's success was technology. Samsung's R&D is very strong. It has recruited the most qualified software and hardware engineers due to which the group has been leading the market for the past ten years.

Second, this group does not compromise on quality. You should pick up any of their products and see. From the packaging to the size, you will be amazed by the quality and the most importantly Lee Kun was an expert in buying and selling. He went ahead by buying or knocking down every obstacle in his way. He even changed the laws of South Korea.

He also brought in governments of his own accord and changed the judges of the High Courts. So it became a state within a state and this state was bigger and stronger than the original state.

Look at the history of South Korea. You will find Samsung and Le Kin behind every political upheaval in the country. He has been the continuous target of dozens of inquiries, investigations and lawsuits. He was also accused of bribing presidents and was also called a peddler of political buying and selling. In 2008, he was found charged of tax evasion.

He was also punished but he bought off both the court and the government. The sentence was remitted, but he had to return his post to the International Olympic Committee. He was infamous throughout in Korea, but he had no regrets, no worries. He was standing in the field. He used to say that if wealth cannot buy ease, then there is no point in being rich. So he used to buy everyone in front in a few moments. This habit of his had become so strong that he finally started trying to buy life.

Chairman Lee Kun-hee had a heart attack in 2014 and went into coma. According to his will, he was shifted to a ventilator and the work of inventing new medicines for him started.

Samsung funded dozens of research institutes. The biggest doctor was arranged and the most expensive medicines were prepared, but none of them could cure him to come out of the coma.

His son Lee Jae-Yong took over the helm of the company. He wanted to see his father stand on his feet for once. He had a strong desire to see his father to speak , eat with his hand once! Yes, see Samsung's new screen once with his own eyes but none of Lee Jae Yong's efforts were fruitful and thus the evening of October 25, 2020 came when the doctors declared despair.

Lee Kun-He died in a coma and his body was cooling down. The doctor put his arm to the side and shook his head in despair. The owner of Samsung was dead but even though he died, he had 20 billion dollars in his account and he owned a 350 billion dollar company but a 350 billion dollar company and 20 billion dollar accounts could not fight death. The traveler left for the next journey after a long sleep of six years.

Li kun-He's death proved once again that man can buy everything in the world through wealth but no matter how big a merchant he becomes, it cannot buy a single extra breath and has no choice but to lose to nature.

It is said that if a man could buy life, we would still be breathing in the sanctity of Nimrod and Pharaoh. Death is the Lord's order through which Allah sends a message to people like Lee Kun-he, "Go, run away as much as you can, but you have to come to Me in the end." I will not let you hide in any corner of the universe and neither does it.

History is the graveyard of human gods. You may look into the graveyard of history one day. In every grave you will find someone who believed himself to be both inevitable and invincible.

But what happened with them? From the Sun King to the Moon Queen, clay became the ultimate quilt for every inevitability of the world. In this world , even a person like Li Kun-hee cannot open his eyes after lying in a hospital bed for six long years and from this even a person like Amir Timur and Hitler return empty-handed but we live in this cemetery all our lives. " keep making noises and we don't even feel ashamed.

May Allah grant us all guidance and a straight path and halal sustenance.
